About Rook
Rook is a smart security and sales-analytics provider for high-throughput retail. We design, install, and support professional IP camera systems — and layer on an AI-powered analytics platform that turns every customer interaction into something operators can actually learn from.
Rook is a full-stack provider: hardware + installation + software + support, delivered under a single monthly subscription. Customers don’t cobble together a camera vendor, an installer, a VMS provider, and an analytics tool — we do all of it.
Our deployment model is closer to a managed security services provider than a SaaS company. We’re on the hook for cameras working, audio sounding right, dashboards showing accurate data, and operators getting value from week one.
In-person walkthrough of every location. We map sightlines, audio capture zones, network paths, and power. You get a written hardware plan before anything is ordered.
Cameras, microphones, edge compute, structured cabling, and configuration. We handle the install end-to-end. Typical site goes from survey to live in 2–3 weeks.
We monitor camera health, push software updates, handle firmware migrations, train managers, and review dashboards with you on a regular cadence.
We source from established surveillance manufacturers (Axis, Hanwha, and similar) with documented audio & video pipelines and real warranty coverage. We don’t deploy consumer cameras at customer sites.
Customer video stays on the property. Only graded results, short audio clips, and structured metadata sync to the cloud. We don’t want raw footage and we don’t store it.
Single monthly subscription that covers hardware, install, software, and support. No surprise per-clip charges, no per-camera license games, no truck-roll fees for stuff that’s our fault.
Owners with multiple locations get a standardized hardware stack, central dashboard, and consistent reporting across every site. The platform was built multi-tenant from day one.
Whether you’re running one wash or thirty, we’ll walk you through what a Rook deployment looks like — honestly, with real numbers.
