We standardize on professional-grade, surveillance-rated equipment from manufacturers we trust. We don’t mix unverified consumer brands into production sites.
Outdoor-rated (IP66/IK10), 2–4 MP, WDR, IR illumination, ONVIF Profile S/T support. We specify Axis, Hanwha, and other professional surveillance brands depending on site requirements.
Outdoor-rated electret microphones positioned to capture employee & customer dialog at pay windows and drive-thrus. Powered through camera ring-power or dedicated mic preamps.
Every Rook site runs a dedicated edge appliance that handles real-time vehicle detection, voice activity detection, and audio processing locally — before anything leaves the property. Customer data is processed at the edge; only graded results and short clips go to the cloud.
Dedicated PoE+ switches, surge protection, structured CAT6 cabling, and isolated VLANs for camera traffic. Sites can run on existing network or a dedicated camera subnet — we plan it during the site survey.
